Rewarding Work
Give back to the community
Benefiting those in need while supporting a worthwhile cause
Becoming part of our therapists community offers the chance to give back, contribute to a charitable cause, and directly help individuals facing challenging health conditions, all while growing your professional experience.
We currently have around 100 therapists working for us throughout Kent, and have treated over 3500 beneficiaries since the Trust started in 2010. Whilst the majority of patients referred to us are living with cancer we do work with people coping with a range of serious chronic illness which may not necessarily be terminal.
In our collaboration, Harmony contributes £25 per session for five out of the six sessions, while therapists generously donate the first session. This partnership not only supports those in need but also offers therapists the opportunity to expand their client base.
We would also be delighted if you could organise at least one fundraising event per year to help the Trust with much needed funds.

After applying online, potential therapists undergo an interview to ensure alignment with our charity’s values, followed by insurance verification. We remunerate therapists for their services at the end of each month.
You can apply to join us using the form below, this will let us know what treatments you are able to offer so that we can match clients with you.
The Harmony team will arrange an informal meeting with you either at our base in sheerness or online. We will talk through the trust and ensure a good fit with the charity.
We will ask you to send us your qualifications and insurance documents. You will also need to send us your business details so that we can make payment to you.
Once we have matched a client with you we will send you their details so that you can arrange your sessions directly. We will send you the contribution towards treatments at the end of each month

We hope we have been able to answer your most frequently asked questions here but if not please get in touch.
all our referrals come to us from GPs, Oncology Departments, Senior Clinical Nurses, Macmillan etc. This is not a comment on how we view therapies, as of course we are aware that many of the lesser known treatments have shown to be very effective for individuals. Therefore, we list below some of the therapies that the NHS accept.
Reflexology (including Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage), Reiki, Healing (not crystals or other therapies) Aromatherapy, Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hypnotherapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Stress Management, Counselling, Acupressure, CBT, IBX Nail Treatment.
You will be working on a self employed basis. We ask you to donate your first treatment free of charge and every sixth treatment thereafter. Donated treatments are per session, not per beneficiary. We pay £25 per treatment. On completion of consultation and treatments we would ask you to forward all copies to our Admin Office, together with your invoice, we pay by BACS, so please submit your bank details.
You will normally be visiting beneficiaries in their homes, but some therapists have a therapy room, which can be more beneficial as it takes them away from “their home of illness”.
We never know which part of the County referrals will come from, so we can’t predict how many referrals you are likely to receive. It may be some time before you receive your first referral.
